USGP New Belgium CX Cup: Saturday’s Best Photos…
The US Gran Prix of Cyclocross has come to Fort Collins for the second year in a row, and apparently the enthusiasm has only grown this year (not surprising seeing these fans). This was my first GP CX event, so seeing these big name pros for the first time was pretty darn cool! I own a couple cross movies, and seeing Tim Johnson, Ryan Trebon, etc in person really makes it that much cooler when know what they have done in the past.
Colorado averages 300 sunny days per year, one of the many reasons I love living here so far. The ideal cyclocross weather calls for precipitation, rain or snow. Well mother nature picked a great day for it to pour down rain here in Fort Collins. It rained for at least 5 hours steadily during the morning/early afternoon; creating an absolute mess of a course, perfect!
Here are some of my favorite photos throughout the day:

I’ll have a link up here to the rest of my photos on Flickr, which are plenty, I got a lot of great individual shots, and if you raced in the Elite Men’s or Women’s race chances are I got a good one of you!
There is more action tomorrow starting bright and early at 8am, but I think I’ll be staying in, have a little TCB to do! Hope Everyone in the area gets a chance to experience this top notch riding this weekend!
