Updated Schedule (2012 Races), Routes, and Gear!

I spent the greater portion of my Sunday eating far too many calories during mine and Jesse’s annual “Triopia” day (Tri cause where Triathletes, Opia because it sounds close to opposite, and we never eat this way, normally). Every last Sunday in October we will eat junk food the whole day, epic!
While eating far too many calories than I will ever burn today, I also looked up races that I can do for 2012. And there are TONS in Colorado, I love it. It came down to having to pick and choose which ones were going to be the better ones, closer, more affordable, better competition, etc.
But I’m really happy with the schedule, and I know it’s totally do-able with a solid off-season. I’m starting with my diet tomorrow, and the easiest week of the year in training (light cross training and weights, calisthenics).
I’ll be posting my periodization training schedule that I will be make later on this week for the rest of the year. I hope you all are planning some races for 2012 or having a blast finishing up your 2011 season! And just remember, through God anything is possible. (Phil 4:13)
P.S. I finally remember to order a Road ID bracelet for this year of training. If you are out there doing a lot of training, especially alone and on the bike, you totally need to invest in one; you never know when accidents are going to happen!
