Healthy Snacks, yo!
So here’s a healthy snack:
Rye Bread w/ Roasted Red Pepper Hummus and Garlic Spaghetti Sauce
A Raw Revolution Bar (Coconut & Agave Nectar)
One Healthy Hearty Smoothie:
1 spoon full of peanut butter
a handful of peanuts (unsalted)
yogurt (strawberry is my favorite with this)
1/2 cup of milk
1/4 cup of honey (more natural the better!)…now that’s one good smoothie!! (Makes 2-3 Servings)
I absolutely love this smoothie after a quality workout. Gets that much needed protein back right away, while giving you some simple sugars in the honey to get your glycogen stores back up quickly as well.
